Daredevil Nik Wallenda Date Announcement Expected

A spokesperson for Nik Wallenda has confirmed the once-in-a-lifetime Niagara Falls gorge tightrope walk will be held between Mid-June and September and the actual day will be announced within the next few weeks.

The Wallenda team is busy working through safety requirements and getting input on what is the best date to maximize the economic impact of the stunt.  It is expected that over 200,000 visitors will be attracted to the area to watch the daredevil in action.

Planning and preparation have been going smoothly to date so delaying past September is unlikely.
